Korean Pork Skewers Recipe

Ingredients

3 pounds pork skewers

1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon dried red chile pepper

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

1/4 teaspoon ground dark mustard

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon rice wine vinegar

6 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

Heat oil in a small saucepan or small saucepan on top of a medium flame, or in the microwave or in a small skillet over medium heat.

In a large bowl, mix the garlic powder, pepper flakes, brown sugar, chile pepper, cinnamon, salt, allspice, dark mustard, nutmeg, soy sauce, vinegar and oil, stirring well. Mix well and pour over skewers.

Broil skewers 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned. Serve hot or cold.
