1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, separated
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening
1 cup margarine, melted
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, butter or margarine, mix sugar, cinnamon, flour and eggs; stir into chocolate mixture. Beat milk into smooth creamed mixture. Stir together brown sugar and cinnamon until smooth. Add shortening and margarine; beat until smooth.
Pour batter into baking pans. Leave about 1/4 inch border on top edges of pans.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 9 minutes, or until knife inserted in center of pan comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cool completely on wire rack. Measure 1/4 inch border for center; let cool completely. Allow to cool.
Stir cream cheese filling into creamed mixture. Garnish with chopped nuts and chopped brown sugar.
