3 ounces silken tuna, peeled
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
2 ounces grated onion
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare casserole according to package directions.
Sift together the flour, salt, pepper, cinnamon and brown sugar. Set aside.
Mix the cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, eggs and onion to form a smooth, creamy mixture. Mix in brown sugar.
In a medium bowl, mix the flour mixture with lemon juice and celery. Mix in onion and celery. Mix in brown sugar. Place tuna mixture on a separate baking sheet and roll into a 1/4 inch thick. Place rolled tuna in the casserole dish.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with margarine, lemon juice and brown sugar.
I used Garlic powder when mixing with flour. Worked great.
This was very tasty but I would double the arbeits pepper and use taco cheese. I was not very good at recreating the taste but they were there and good.
