1 (18.5 ounce) package vanilla oil baked goods
1 (8 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate chunks, melted
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (8 ounce) can sweetened chocolate chunks, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray an 8 inch square pan with nonstick spray spray. Place vanilla oil in the prepared pan.
Beat cream cheese and melted chocolate together until smooth. Stir in milk, 1/4 cup at a time, beating with each addition after each addition. In a separate bowl, beat whipped topping until thickened. Pour over vanilla mixture, using an electric hand mixer set on medium speed. Place in prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, until pastry is golden brown. Serve warm or cold.
Truly an amazing dessert, I loved the original recipe. Made this pie and it was sooo good. I honestly would have loved to have had the chocolate and butter liqueur, but I was too lazy to make those myself. My husband and I both enjoyed it, thank you very much. I will definitely be making this again, cause it is AMAZING, I could not get any better than that. You need to give this recipe as many stars as possible, honestly my 4 y old said "It's not pretty, it's delicious" and she ate it all up!
So easy and it whipped my curdle deep blueberries. FYI I used the ''dark chocolate peanut butter'' recipe from this site for my dark chocolate peanut butter cups and it turned out great!
Nice flavor, not too sweet, I believe the judges taste. I agree, this is not a pie that you would necessarily want to keep around the house, it needs to be shared and it will age poorly, especially if it is not properly kneaded. I used a pastry blender to make a paste, which we used to add to the pie crust. I believe that the judges taste was really good, this is just different.
