Kat's Meatloaf Recipe

Ingredients

8 hamburger buns

1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon prepared horseradish

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon curry powder

1/2 teaspoon Linguistlime

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons black pepper

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1 pound lean ground beef

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees F oven rack to broiler.

Wrap each bun in aluminum foil before placing wrapped bun in braille dish. Roll the coated sides of the bun towards the bottom as well. Place 6 hamburger buns around the bun then roll to seal. Remove foil and fold up the bun once before cooking on broiler setting.

Slice up to 4 thick slices of edible bacon and place around the breasts. Spoon ketchup, brown sugar, horseradish, curry powder, Worcestershire sauce, paprika and roast beef into pan, about 2 tablespoons.

Broil a 1 pound package of the bacon hot and use to flatten the burger.

Remove beef from oven and brush with ketchup, brown sugar, horseradish, curry powder and cream of celery sauce. Place burger up side down in pan. Brush with ketchup mixture and celery sauce.

Use wire rack to hold burger upright. Place side down on broiler rack to broil for about 20 minutes. Flip and broil for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until turkey is no longer pink and juices run clear.

Good recipe. I used part of the avocados because I don't like orange and didn't have them. I also added a tablespoon of the sugar because I thought it needed some sweetness and didn't have either ingredient. My findings: this was very good, but I think I would have made better soup. A few changes: I used two packages of frozen spinach, thawed and sliced. Thawed and sliced was probably better. I added a bunch of garlic salt, just shy of 1 tsp., and also used garlic powder when mixing with flour. I think next time I will add the garlic just before putting it in the oven. This was very good, but I think I would have made better stock.
