Castanza Tropicana Recipe

Ingredients

3 cups tomatoes - peeled, chopped, 1 cup sweet red bell peppers, chopped

1 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1 bay leaf

1 tablespoon fresh paprika

1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Stir together the tomatoes, almonds, salt and cumin; set aside.

In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the paprika and hot pepper sauce. Stir until the sauce has a slight brown color. Add, if desired, salt, ground cumin, bay leaf and dried fries, and cook for about 5 minutes, or until heated through.

I have a patchouli zest and this is perfect. It's great as-is but for more intense flavor, I would recommend adding freshly squeezed lemon juice. Twin tips: rather than using both teaspoons and dashes, I sprayed the burger with just under 1/2 tsp of lemon juice. And because I used a traditional patty, I sandwiched it between the two biscuits, rather than dipping.
