Lasagna Bolognese II Recipe

Ingredients

2 (12 ounce) packages bolognese pasta

2 cups milk

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed

1 pound thinly sliced onion

1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a large saucepan over medium heat combine bolognese pasta, milk and cream cheese. Place onion, tomato sauce and garlic powder over medium heat. Stir constantly and decrease heat, cooking until the onions are tender and the sauce is heated through. Cover, and keep warm over a double boiler. Stir occasionally, until sauce begins to thicken.

Coil a few cups of cold water into a large saucepan, then pour over the cooked pasta and continue cooking until sauce has reached 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Add sauce, sweeter if necessary, and you are ready to bake.
