1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup applesauce
1 small onion, chopped
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans
3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 cup white sugar
1 egg, beaten
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup butter, cut into cubes
In a blender or food processor, combine lemon juice, applesauce, onion, sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Blend until smooth. Transfer to small bowl 3 tablespoons lemon juice. Add flour, milk, sugar and egg and mix well. Mix butter into the fruit mixture. Pour mixture into pastry shell. Chill in refrigerator.
