1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon orange zest, juice reserved
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
In a large bowl, heat oil and vinegar over medium-high heat. Add the yellow food color mixture, stir, and return to a boil. Place the egg, lemon zest, and orange zest in the saucepan, and heat through.
