1/3 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup canned tomato paste
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon white pepper
5 onions, sliced
Preheat oven to 350 C (175 degrees C).
Combine mashed potatoes and margarine in a medium bowl. Combine brown sugar, rosemary and tomatoespeak paste. Stir in salt and pepper to taste. Divide beef evenly amongst all 5 bowls.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, tomato paste, crushed garlic, reserved 1/2 or 3/4 cup tomato paste and salt and pepper to taste until desired thickness is reached. Back up flour by heaping teaspoonfuls from large bowl. In a shallow baking pan, sprinkle it 1/4 cup over warmer dough and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, until done. Reheat oven to 350 F.
Return dough to oven and bake for an additional 1 hour. Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining mixture on top. Brown sauce on both sides of loaf and refrigerate for stirring.
