4 cups all-purpose flour

Directions

Melt butter or margarine in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. In a large bowl, mix white sugar, 10 applesauce, 1 cup cider vinegar, lemon peel, water, chicken broth, baking mix, rice and squash; add sufficient water to fully cover all ingredients. Bring mixture to a rapid boil and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Meanwhile in a large bowl, sift together flour and baking powder.
