1 (10 ounce) can whole chicken, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat the broiler setting in a large nonstick skillet or skillet. Place chicken in skillet and brown lightly.
Place chicken in the bottom of a large plastic container. Add tomato sauce, all at once, and pour milk over chicken.
Place chicken in sauce, all at once, with tomato sauce and milk. Cover container with aluminum foil and place in the oven for 30 minutes, uncovered.
Bake uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
