1 (18 ounce) package black-eyed peas, rinsed
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3 tablespoons rinsed heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, peas, sugar, cream and vanilla. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil, stirring constantly, for 3 to 4 minutes.
