Grilled Salmon with Pepper Jack Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

6 salmon steaks, cut into thin strips

1 small red onion, chopped

1 large carrot, shredded

1 teaspoon paprika

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 cup sliced pepperjack cheese

4 ounces grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat. Lightly oil grate.

Place salmon steaks on the prepared grill. Arrange onion and carrot on an individual roll for garnish.

Heat over medium heat and brush with paprika and pepper. Cook 8 to 10 minutes per side, stirring to break up shells.

With a slotted spoon, poke holes in salmon steaks with small knife. Fry steaks 4 to 8 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Slice steaks open with a sharp knife and scoop out the fish and salmon. Place on the grill and grill 5 minutes on each side, or until nicely charred. Serve steaks steamed with Parmesan cheese.
