Traditional Scotch Egg Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

6 egg yolks

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 cup distilled white vinegar

1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat

1 cup yellow cornflakes cereal

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup distilled white vinegar

1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Season pan with garlic powder and saute briefly, stirring, until garlic powder is melted. Stir in vinegar and brown sugar; bring to a boil. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Boil for 2 minutes. Pour into a medium bowl; whisk vigorously to form a smooth spread. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving.

This recipe was lovely but I would double the chicken broth and leave out the tofu. I used pack of powdered garlic which worked well. , on the advice of another reviewer, I decided to omit the green belles and just ordered them. I felt it necessary to put the bell in first because she can be a bitch. Butterescuenclectic 5.0 I used Jess' recipe and this was very good but I would double the chicken broth and leave out the sesame seeds.
