3 (16 ounce) bottles sliced red cabbage, crumbled
3 (4 ounce) cans tomato sauce
6 tablespoons ketchup
1 (2 ounce) package powdered Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 cups water
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium banana, sliced into rounds (optional)
In a medium bowl, mix together sliced red cabbage, tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and water. Cover the wrapped packages and refrigerate.
Preheat the grill for highest heat and lightly oil grate.
Remove packages from the packages. (Notes: If frozen, recycling is optional; otherwise, or discard packages.) Heat 1 tablespoon of ketchup in a large saucepan over medium heat. Mix mustard mixture into ketchup. Stir in onions and banana, if desired. Stir until ketchup is completely emulsified. Serve chilled.
