Amish Grocery Store Bread Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

1/3 cup butter

1 cup white sugar

1/2 cup corn syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon amaretto liqueur

3 tablespoons light rum

1 egg

3 tablespoons corn syrup

3 tablespoons rum

1 teaspoon amaretto liqueur

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup butter

Directions

In a mixing bowl, cream together brown sugar and butter until smooth. Beat in white sugar, corn syrup and vanilla. Stir in amaretto, rum and egg until evenly blended. Beat in corn syrup, rum and amaretto liqueur. Beat in vanilla. Stir in 3 tablespoons butter.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving platter.
