1 fresh currant, halved
8 (1 ounce) frozen mixed vegetables
6 sliced bananas
salt and pepper to taste
Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil. Add currants and stir to loosen seeds. Allow to cool.
Place mixed vegetables in the saucepan. Fry over medium heat until cooked, about 5 minutes. Stir in bananas, salt and pepper to taste. Heat through, stirring occasionally, until currant mixture has thickened slightly.
