Ordering the Basmati Rice I Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 cup boiling water

1 onion, chopped

1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans

1 1/2 cups cooked rice

1 cup chopped onion

1 cup chopped celery

1 1/2 cups tomato paste

1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 pound processed cheese food

1 teaspoon curry powder

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon prepared horseradish

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, boiling water, onion, kidney beans, rice, onion, celery, tomato paste, oil, paprika, garlic powder, and cheese food. Mix thoroughly.

Transfer to a 3 quart ovenproof casserole dish. Place several layers of the ground beef mixture over the bottom of each dinner plate. Spread rice over the top of the meat mixture.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes, or until rice is tender. Remove from baking dish and brush with horseradish. Spoon mozzarella cheese over meat mixture. Top with cheese. Leave spoon of meat mixture in the dish in which it was cooked.
