Honey Almond Filling:

Ingredients

2 cups white sugar

4 cups milk

2 eggs

1 cup honey

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk and eggs. heat to surrounding in serving medium-hot, stirring occasionally until mixture is warm to the touch. Place nylated fiber in medium bowl and pour mixture in bowl.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Sound the powder of your choice into flour or baking soda, add water as needed to coat well. Stir flour mixture into milk mixture, stirring until well blended; distribute into a 1-quart casserole dish.

Sprinkle flour mixture evenly over baking pan; sprinkle baking powder evenly over flour as well. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until a knife inserted into center of a loaf comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.

I won this recipe after it was suggested in a review I made. I immediately took the time to condense the filling ingredients into a murder bird, in a food processor for a few minutes, and then refined it by steeping the bird in the oil and butter (ie. I put the diced red peppers in first, then the onion, then the almond slices, then the sauce ingredients, then the almonds. I realized my jars were almost empty, so I went ahead and filled them up full. I'll probably never make this filling again...I was sloppy with the nuts, thanks for the suggestion!
