Butter-Nut Fruit Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil

1 cup butterscotch chips

2 tablespoons white sugar

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1 3/4 cups granulated white sugar

(35 ounce) package softened cream cheese

2 large strawberries, sliced

2 cups freeze-dried strawberries, dried

1/8 cup honey

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butterscotch chips and sugar while stirring until mixed; stir while pressing. Use hands to fold loosely into the mixture. Cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove skillet from heat. Mix cream cheese, strawberries, frozen strawberries, honey and cinnamon. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until frosting starts to melt completely. Refrigerate 3 hours.

No diet No can-does, just cut into 1 to 1 1/4 inch cubes (shape includes pressing) as desired.

I doubled the recipe, added Twix and Cheese, and came up with a really good recipe! I did notice that I should have added more water to thicken the sauce, but that is not the case. The sauce is great, very simple to make and we wished we had younger siblings to slow us down during decline.
