1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup chopped fresh apples
1/2 cup butter, softened
5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix together sugar, salt, pecans, apples, butter, and flour.
Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into 1 inch squares.
