5 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons minced garlic
3 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup dry white wine
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a saucepan, combine three cloves of garlic, oil, and garlic powder. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour sauce over cooked chicken and heat for 3 1/2 to 5 minutes, or until mixture boils over medium heat. Thoroughly stir in salt and pepper to taste. Stir in dry white wine; heat over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Stir butter into chicken mixture, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Cover, and simmer for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
