3 tablespoons instant coffee
1 tablespoon agave, honey or apple preserves
2 eggs
1 tablespoon beef broth
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 cup water
1 onion, sliced into rings
1 carrot, sliced into 4 wedges
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest (optional)
1 teaspoon fried egg substitute (optional)
In a mixing bowl, mix well instant coffee, agave, honey or apple preserves, eggs, beef broth, salt, vinegar, water, onions, carrots, ketchup, tomato paste and lemon zest. Beat well. Cover and refrigerate
