3/4 cup cooking spray
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C). Bake chicken in a Dutch oven until chicken is tender, about 1 hour.
Heat 2 tablespoons sauce in a small saucepan. Mix with sugar, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, garlic salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and salt; Pour sauce over chicken. Cover, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and simmer until sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes.
Remove chicken from sauce, and place in a roasting dish. Season with parmesan and lemon slices. Sprinkle about 1/4 cup parmesan cheese over chicken.
Roast uncovered at 450 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow chicken to cool completely, about 10 minutes.
