Steak Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 (4 ounce) can tomato sauce

1 (10 ounce) can tomato paste

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 medium head cabbage, shredded

1 (10 ounce) can tomato paste with juice

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and drain off fat.

In a small saucepan, combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, onion, and cabbage. Mix well. Pour sauce over meat, brown and drain on paper towels.

Arrange steaks in a single layer in a medium baking dish. Sprinkle steaks with tomato sauce mixture and tomato paste. Pour steaks with tomato sauce mixture over steaks.

Bake steaks in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Turn steaks so they are browned. Bake steaks for 5 minutes longer.
