1 1/2 cups whole French or Italian.
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon caramelized sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
2 egg yolks
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups baked or microwave-ready soft white cheese
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup peeled and chopped walnuts, almonds
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9x15 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, mix oats, caramelized sugar and salt until just mixed. Stir in milk and eggs. Fold in coconut by hand into cream mixture, just until combined. Fold in 5 ounces of chocolate chips.
Spread half of mixture over bottom of prepared dish. Spread remaining mixture over oatmeal mixture. Drop cream mixture over last layer of cream. Spread remaining chocolate mixture over last layer of cream. Spread remaining cream over remaining bottom of baking dish. Dust remaining chocolate chips on top.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Unroll to remove parchment paper. Spread half of mixture over parchment paper and press lightly to loosen. Spoon remainder onto prepared casserole. Brush remaining chocolate chips evenly over casserole. Place chocolate chips in bowl, and mix melted butter, walnuts and drizzle of milk over chocolate chips until smooth, don't burn.
