1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons butter
2 (8 ounce) bags potato chips
1 (20 ounce) can crushed corn cereal
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
4 slices fresh bread, cubed
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped celery
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a medium saucepan, mix brown sugar, eggs, and butter. Stirring constantly, cook over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Mix potato chips and corn cereal into the brown sugar mixture. Stirring constantly, cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Combine sour cream, bread, onion, water, and salt. Heat to softened, stirring constantly.
Pour mixture into pie crust. Place second half of bread cubes on top. Repeat with remaining bread. Place remaining bread cubes on top of bread, and top with potato chips, corn cereal, sour cream, and cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool before serving.
