2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking soda
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter flavored extract
1 cup chopped chives
2 apples, cored and sliced
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon cream of tartar
1 cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoons butter flavored extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and chives. Add the apples, cheese, cream of tartar, sugar, butter flavor and vanilla. Mix together well, then pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool cakes in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.

Great simple recipe. Biggest mistake I ever made was eating french toast with my eggs Benedict. So I couldnt possible achieve that result. Its way too sweet since orange zest isnt in there. Its a nice concept but for some reason people were hesitating to give it rating. Maybe its because theyre new to the recipe.
