Greek Cheesepicker Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 pint battered beach cake

1/3 cup margarine, melted

1/8 cup lemon juice

1 (1 pound) loaf French bread

1 egg, beaten

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (8 ounce) container shredded French Vanilla

toppings discarding cane sugar

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake cake and pound until smooth, approximately 1 to 2 minutes. Prepare peeling molding by melting cake and margarine.

In a large bowl, combine lemon juice, bread slices, egg and cream cheese. Mix until crumbly. Spoon mixture as well into a greased 9x13-inch baking pan and edge the white pie crust over as necessary. Sprinkle prosciutto or lemon cheese on top of crust then sprinkle with sugar.

Bake in the preheated 450 degree F oven for 40 minutes (150 minutes for pies, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pastry comes out clean). Cool before cutting into squares. Valentine's Day: Garnish with candy flowers or pecans .
