1 cup chopped cooked chicken parts
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped red bell pepper
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup wine
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste
3 (2 pound) boneless chicken breast halves
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
Boil chicken in a large pot until cooked through, about 10 minutes. Remove from pot and drain on paper towels. Reserve liquid from chicken.
Place chicken in a baking dish. Mix together the chicken, onion, bell pepper and garlic. Mix chicken with vegetables and liquid and simmer for 15 minutes.
Mix together wine and olive oil in a small electric curling bowl and pour over chicken, tossing to coat. Discard any remaining liquid. Add flour, paprika, oregano, sugar, tomato paste and chicken. Blend together; pour mixture over chicken and stir to coat.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes or until cooked through. Turn chicken over and bake another 15 minutes.
