1 cup water
2 tablespoons peanut oil
3 cups white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup butter, melted
In a large bowl, mix the water, peanut oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and almond extract. Beat (a little at a time) with an electric mixer until mixture begins to get sticky. Mix in baking soda, salt and buttermilk.
Gradually whisk in butter. Mix into peach peach jam. Pour over peach jelly. Chill before serving.
