6 x 10 slices bacon
2 onions, peeled and chopped
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 medium head garlic, peeled and minced
2 tablespoons dried parsley
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups crushed cornflakes cereal
Place bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook 9 to 11 minutes, or until browned. Remove bacon; cut into small pieces. Stir fry onion and green bell pepper over medium heat, until tender.
Place the garlic, parsley, salt and pepper in the skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown.
Add crumbled feta cheese to skillet mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted and mixture coats the back of a metal spoon, remove from heat and stir in crushed cornflakes cereal.
Toss in the bacon, onions and pepper. Flip burgers, and brush any brown spots with egg whites.
Place burgers in oven proof oven and cook on broiler setting 6 minutes per side. Remove burger from oven and let cool on waxed paper when flipping. Flip burgers over and brush liberally with remaining bacon grease and sprinkle with seasoned rosemary, salt and pepper.
