1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
salt and ground black pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 tablespoon curry powder
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
In a medium nonstick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Saute the onion and fry until golden. Stir in the garlic powder, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley, salt and pepper. Mix in the paprika, curry powder, rosemary, oregano, basil, dried mustard, thyme and salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat to low, cover the pan and broil 15 minutes, or until the steak is tender.
