Hatto Pigmento (Brown Sugar Pecan Pie) Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons shortening

1 1/2 cups white sugar

4 eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa Powder

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

2 drops green food coloring

Directions

Pour shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and salt into a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture is a deep golden brown. Stir in cocoa and NESTOM, keeping mixture warm. Stir in 1/2 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup hot water and food coloring. Place pie into oven and place on preheated oven rack.

Cool on wire rack. Makes 12 pie shells.
