1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup crushed apples
1 cup butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). In a small mixing bowl combine cornstarch, sugar, vinegar, melted butter or margarine or butter, sugar, and water. Place flour on a medium-size bowl and stir in eggs. Blend well.
For each cookie roll attempt, stir together the cornstarch mixture, apples, and butter or cinnamon until all active ingredients are blended in. Fill a 2 quart baking dish with a 1 1/2 inch dish, placing the rolls on the top layer. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden.
To make the frosting: In a small saucepan, melt butter or margarine and stir in the cereal, 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 of the sugar. Drizzle over frosting. Let sit until thoroughly cool
