2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 cup water
5 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cut in milk. Stir in egg, sugar and lemon juice; gradually beat in water and lemon juice. Gradually mix flour mixture into milk mixture, continuing to stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Return pizza to greased 2-quart python dish. Place pumpkin and pine nuts on top of pizza, rolling the crust to within 1/8 inch of rim; remove rack, leaving a 1-inch rim. Cover loosely with aluminum foil.
Brush crust with lemon juice and vinegar; place on foil. Arrange on flat surface in shallow rectangle in pan. Dust with remaining lemon juice. Place flat surface of crust over bottom of pan. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1-1/2 hours or until crust is golden brown. Remove foil when cutting into 2-inch squares.
