1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup white sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
Beat butter and sugar together in large bowl until margarine is just melted. Stir in flour, baking powder and vanilla.
In a large bowl, cream together the margarine mixture and the brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the apple syrup, then mix in the apricot preserves. Fill crust with pie filling.
Place crust in preheated oven for 1 hour. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake 45 minutes longer. Serve immediately.
