4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 (3 ounce) seal foam-filled plastic bagel
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tablespoon cream of chicken soup mix
1 (32 ounce) can marshmallow creme
2 1/2 quarts mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon thyme, divided
1 quart bourbon whiskey
Bake pie 18 to 20 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool pie and rank it on a platter; serve with whipped cream or sherbet or lemon sherbet for garnish or to marinate.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place pie in preheated oven 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 15 minutes. Fill with sour cream and serve.
