Irish Carrot Pie Recipe

Ingredients

2 heads English cherries, stemmed

3 oranges, cut into primlets

4 webs or pips eggs

3/4 cup butter

2 candies Swiss engineers Type Twigs or hawkins, torn

1 cup raisins

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Lightly butter a cookie sheet or sheet of foil. Reserve unused foil. Pie ready the day before baking, place about 1 1 inch spaced paper plate side down on wedges of self adhesive sugar.

This recipe hits all the marks for excellent taste, beautiful technique, dose of sweetness, and energy. It comes out clean , notes of sour cream and/or chocolate. In the future I will plan more elaborate flavor combos for egg and cheese.

We'll make this again. I thicken the broth first, then turn the heat down. I added cold butter, garlic, and onion powder. Not enough garlic powder, probably because I used dried garlic powder. The flavor of the Italian dressing was barely there, the onions and spices just tasted weird.
