9 oz. sausage, cut into 1 inch cubes
3 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
3 slices bacon
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2 eggs, beaten
3 slices bacon
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried sage
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove from skillet and crumble into a bowl. Mix well. Drain grease from skillet. Stir in 1/2 cup cream cheese and 1/2 cup bacon and saute as directed on package.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, mix sausage, eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese and eggs; mix well. Stir into browned sausage mixture. Pour over sausage mixture in casserole dish. Sprinkle with bacon.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes. While casserole is baking, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Cut a 1/2 fat slice from each cooked meat piece (either the side or the center) and place in the bottom of a greased 10x15 inch baking dish. Layer sides of dish with cream cheese slices and then top with bacon. Top with cheese slices and then sprinkle with seasoning mix.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue baking for 15 minutes, or until casserole is browned and bubbly. Serve over steamed potatoes.
