Green Chile Salad Recipe

Ingredients

2 slices Italian bread, torn into small pieces

1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

1 (14.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms

1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup diced celery

3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 (8 ounce) canoranges, drained

1 (2.25 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced

1/4 cup sliced almonds

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1 tablespoon butter

3 tablespoons red wine vinegar

1 tablespoon black vinegar

1/4 cup mineral oil

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Lightly grease a large baking sheet.

Place bread in a large bowl. Mix together the bread, mushrooms, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, oil, celery, chives, salt, Worcestershire sauce, chile peppers, almonds, parsley, butter, vinegar, vinegar, aluminum foil, broccoli florets and crackers. Spread evenly on the baking sheet.

Bake in preheated oven until bubbly, 35 to 40 minutes.

Bake in preheated oven until crisp, 15 minutes.

While bread is baking, place sliced peppers in a large saucepan over medium heat. Addenough water to cover. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, continue stirring to keep peppers from sticking to pan and from burning. Remove from heat. Pour hot chile sauce over peppers and cook 20 minutes or until gently heated. Discard any remaining sauce.

Meanwhile, stir together the artichoke hearts, oil, celery, chives, salt, Worcestershire sauce and chiles in a small bowl

While bread is baking, toast the almonds in the skillet over medium heat. Add to the bread mixture, add enough water to cover.

While bread mixture is baking, in a large bowl, mix together the mixed vegetable, celery, chives, salt, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar. Mix well.

After the bread is cool, transfer it to a large bowl and and beat the egg whites until thick and pale yellow in color. Beat the milk into the bowl of a mixer and beat the egg white mixture into the dry mixture. Beat the egg whites into the flour mixture, then fold in the flour mixture. Pour mixture into the loaf of bread. Sprinkle evenly with Parmesan cheese.

nuts and toffee points! would have given this 5 however, it was too bland and I might use some extra seasoning.
