Pork Chop Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/8 teaspoon onion powder

1/8 teaspoon dried basil

1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

3 cups diced onions

1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning

1/4 teaspoon dried basil

1/8 teaspoon dried sage

1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary

1/8 teaspoon dried thyme

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Cut the Cheddar cheese into 1/2 inch slices. Brush slices with garlic powder and salt, place slices in the baking dish. Sprinkle with thyme, onion powder, basil, rosemary, onion, poultry seasoning and sage. Seal edges of the baking dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until cheese is bubbly. Remove from the oven and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and remaining cheese slices. Brush mixture all over the casserole dish.

Bake for another 5 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Brush casserole with margarine and sprinkle with basil. Bake for another 5 minutes.
