1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, mix the sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and pecans. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix together the creamed sugar mixture, chopped pecans, and cake mix. Stir the pecans into the creamed sugar mixture. Drop by spoonfuls onto the cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks. While cookies are baking, grease cookie sheets.
