1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1/4 cup milk
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 cups chopped pecans
1 (9 inch) prepared cookie crumb crust
Prepare cake according to package directions. Bake as directed on package. Allow to cool completely.
Spread frosting over cooled cake: In a large saucepan, pour 1/2 cup milk over pecans and spread evenly over cake. Cool completely.
Beat cream cheese in medium bowl until well blended. Stir pudding into cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with pecans. Chill cake in refrigerator.
