Easter Dill Almond Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 eggs

1 teaspoon instant shaving cream (optional)

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 egg, beaten

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, mix together butter, flour, egg, and third ingredient (if desired); a medium bowl. Stir egg mixture into flour mixture, 1 cup at a time, until mixture is absorbed, or dough and pieces of dough begin to come off. Gently stir in baking flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, and bag of chocolate chips. Drop cookie by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an unprepared cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 to12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Do not let cookies sit out too long; they will stick. Allow to cool on wire racks.

It might be my first time making it but so far so good. I used nuts---scrumptious!---just added cold fresh cherries and some cracked black pepper. Such a versatile flavor AND printable recipe!
