Authentic Japan-Style Shrimp Dip Watch Now

Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon white sugar

1 egg

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

1 medium sweet onion, sliced

1 medium Italian sausage, sliced

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon dried basil

1/8 teaspoon paprika

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1/8 teaspoon prepared horseradish

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix garlic powder, salt, sugar, egg, butter, cheese, mushrooms, onion, and sweet onion. Form mixture into 2 patties.

Fry patties in a medium skillet over medium heat. Drain well and discard the grease. Place patties in a single layer on an ungreased medium baking sheet. Sprinkle cooked shrimp with remaining garlic powder mixture, and dredge in the casserole sauce. Spread patties with remaining green bell pepper.

Heat a medium skillet or wok over medium heat. Line the bottom and sides of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish with skewers. To grease the skewers, melt butter in a microwave oven or microwave oven over medium heat. Place patties on skewers.

Arrange mushrooms in a single layer on the top of the patties. Spread mushroom sauce over top of shrimp and place in a separate large bowl. Sprinkle with pepper. Sprinkle with horseradish seasoning. Spread mushrooms over shrimp. Sprinkle with basil. Spread over the core of the shrimp and place on top of the avocado filling. Spread sauce over shrimp. Top with avocado and cheese.

Bake in preheated oven 10 minutes, or until done. Serve hot sprinkled with horseradish and fresh basil. Serve warm topped with avocado.
