1 pound ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup water
1 (15 ounce) can chili beans
1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans
1 (25 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (15 ounce) can sliced black olives
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion until brown. Drain excess grease.
In a large pot over medium heat, combine the salt and pepper. Cook and stir until beef is browned and onion is tender. Add the water and chili beans; stir. Return water to pot, and heat gently until beans are heated through.
Add the whole kernel corn, black olives, beans and chili. Mix well; reduce heat to low and simmer for about 1 hour. You may want to add a dash of chili powder or chili powder granules to taste.
