2 cups lemon cake mix
2 cups lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O mix
Prepare lemon cake according to package directions. Cut into squares.
In a medium bowl, mix lemon-lime soda and lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage. Pour mixture into lemon cake squares.
Place lemon filling in the center of each lemon cake square. Fill each lemon cake square with lemon jelly.
Roll out lemon jelly to duplicate shape of cake, stretching at least 1 inch beyond edges to catch drips. Slide lemon filling all around and press lightly against sides of cake.
Fold lemon strips into lemon cakes. Place cake edges right up sides together and press edges together to seal. Cover and refrigerate cake for 24 hours. Then frost with lemon frosting.
