26 ounces tortilla chips
1 cup salsa
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (12 ounce) can corn tortilla chips
4 slices bacon, torn
Place chips in a large bowl. Mix salsa into center of each tortilla. Sprinkle with green onion. Cover bowl with a tarp. Secure with toothpicks or a metal pin.
Place a large skillet over medium heat. Place tortilla chips in skillet and quickly fry until crisp. Flip halfway through cooking so the edges are covered. Drain on paper towels. Serve with refried beans or salsa.
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add chips and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Place a large salsa maker in the center of a large skillet. Place pan over medium heat. Place chips in skillet and fry until heated, but not browned. Drain on paper towels.
Arrange tortilla chips in a large resealable plastic bag. Add beans, tortilla chips, bacon, pepper and taco seasoning. Seal bag and shake to coat. Pull the tortilla chips from their marinade and place in a warm medium bowl.
